I’d strongly recommend reading Noelle’s graphic novel, Nimona, if you haven’t already! It kind of helps understand what Noelle loves about the hero/villain thing that also applies to Catradora. Also, in the most recent interview with cast + Noelle, AJ alluded to the fact that Catra 100% will be redeemed! and also that ya it takes a while. I believe catradora will absolutely happen, but what form that’ll take exactly is hard to predict.

Yeah I haven’t read Nimona but I feel the same way. Noelle has also said Catra will eventually be okay. I guess the issue is exactly how long that takes and how long it takes for Catradora to get back on good terms... and then how long it would take for them to be able to have a healthy romantic relationship. It seems like a lot to accomplish in 26 episodes considering Catra starts this next season in full on evil overlord mode. But hey, I’m loving everything Noelle and the other writers have done so far, and I trust that however this turns out I will enjoy it and find fulfillment in it.

idk about you but I kind of felt like the tie-up with Lockwood not dying was that Lucy acutally ended up SAVING him because she was so vigilant and conscious of all that foreshadowing. But yeah I agree there wasn't so much closure on the whole death wish aspect.

that’s a really good point!! I totally agree :) I wish it had been a tad more explicit within the text though.

What comes to mind is The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, definitely very weird and is sci fi but like, ridiculous, or Welcome to Nightvale (the book)? Welcome to Nightvale is about a small SW desert town where crazy shit happens and everyone pretends it’s normal

I’ve been sloooowly re-reading the HHG series since last year, but for some reason it’s just not right for this mood >_< It should be perfect, but it’s just not. I might give Nightvale a try, though. I’d forgotten we have the book, and that might be great, thanks!
