Hayden James | Hayden James EP

Future Classic has been incubating some fantastic new sound creators. With the growing individual success of Flume, I was surprised to find out that the talent stream goes much deeper. In our last post we highlighted Chrome Sparks, a 22 year old producer from Brooklyn. Now Hayden James has come on our radar as another beat producer to keep a keen eye on. The EP is an adventure through uplifting house cadences mixed with crisp drums and drizzled in glittering synths.

One of the great things about the combination of technology and music is that it now allows for artists to create beautiful mosaics of sound that cross between genres and decades. Madeaux pieces together bits of soul, jazz, funk, dub, and house with precise compression and clarity that it will have you wondering why this guy doesn't already have a world tour with someone like Flume. His most popular track so far, a remix of Kendrick Lamar's "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" has reached 30,000 listeners on Soundcloud.
