During my latest playthrough, I saw a group of Relaxaurus together. Group of 3 normal ones and 1 Lux. Or 2 normal, I don't remember.

So... I imagine (and that will become clearer with a couple more sketches), that the little odd sibling with their other siblings just grow up with a close bond.

I have a couple more sketches in mind with this group.

I saw them again. They went in the water and the 3 Relaxaurus kept swimming away and then back, while the Lux one walked into the water slowly.
