Draw a line. I have.

I have definitely had and shared some political/moral opinions over time; but, in general, I have been able to admit or allow that people who differed in opinion from me have legitimate reasons for their beliefs. Sure, there are the occasional jerks/trolls/racists/bigots/etc... But, for the most part, people mean well and as long as everyone stays basically respectful I haven't had a problem.

But now we have an issue that, I guess, has hit my line in the sand. This thing with the children is just too far.

The basic humanity of children should be a bipartisan belief... Hell, it should be nonpartisan. Children should be safe. They should be cared for medically and mentally and emotionally. They should be with their families unless those families harm them. There should be no debate, period, on these facts. It should not matter where you fall on the political spectrum, children are sacrosanct.

And I cannot be connected with anyone who feels differently. If you feel differently please just block me now. I don't want to know you.

It doesn't matter who started it. I don't care, at this exact moment, who passed what law or when. I don't want to hear any of the "whataboutism" bull crap. I don't want to hear any fumbling comparisons to any other issue, person, time period, or event. Any of that that I see just makes me think that you don't actually mind what is happening and are desperately trying to justify that to everyone else.

We should all be of one mind and one voice on this: "Not children. Never children."

This is my limit.
