Religious Views/Beliefs

I'd like to take the time and explain exactly what my religious views are. If you have any questions that the rest of this post does not answer, feel free to message me! As stated in other posts and other places on my blog, my religious views are heavily influenced by astrology and the Zodiac, both Tropical and Sidereal. Prior to this new idea, I was a Roman Catholic. I still consider myself to be a Roman Catholic, but only partially. I do believe in Jesus and God, and I do believe some aspects of the Old and New Testament. Some lessons and prayers taught by this particular religion are both fascinating and beneficial, though I do not agree with all. However, Roman Catholicism doesn't believe in reincarnation and that is where I strongly disagree, and this is also where the Zodiac comes into play. The Zodiac has 12 different signs (or 13 if you're referring to the Sidereal Zodiac) based on the time of year one was born. The signs are as follows:

Aries (March 21 - April 20) Taurus (April 21 - May 21) Gemini (May 22 - June 21) Cancer (June 22 - July 22) Leo (July 23 - August 21) Virgo (August 22 - September 23) Libra (September 24 - October 23) Scorpio (October 24 - November 22) Sagittarius (November 23 - December 22) Capricorn (December 23 - January 20) Aquarius (January 21 - February 19) Pisces (February 20 - March 20)

Each person under their sign has qualities/characteristics that are found in all other individuals under the same sign. However, each person is unique in their own way and not all characteristics may apply to them, or a certain quality they posses may not be listed under their sign.

The 12 Zodiac signs could also be considered "Levels of Life." This is where the idea of reincarnation comes into play. Every soul starts off at the first level, which is Aries. The objective of a soul's time on earth is to master certain qualities and learn certain lessons in order to better your soul. The current qualities you were already given are usually referred to as your "South Node." The qualities you must master in this life are known as your "North Node." If you would like to learn more about what a North and South Node are, click here for a basic explanation.

When you die and you have successfully mastered these certain qualities, you go to Heaven. The amount of time spent in Heaven is different for everyone. I personally believe that you can occasionally choose how long you wish to stay, but you eventually must go back if you haven't successfully mastered all 12 (or 13) signs. I also believe that you can sometimes choose which life you'd like to live next. This life would have to be within your next Zodiac level, but you would able to see an overview of it. However, if you do not master your certain set of qualities, you may have to repeat that particular Zodiac sign in your next life. You would still be able to go to Heaven, but you wouldn't be able to move on just yet. The only instance I could envision someone going to Hell is if they committed a terrible crime or sinned during their life and didn't ask for forgiveness. These people would have to spend a certain time in Hell as a punishment, but they would not be there forever. After their time is paid, they will be given another chance (in the same Zodiac sign as their previous life) to master their certain set of qualities.

Once a spirit has reached the final stage of the Zodiac, which is Pisces, and they have learned all of their qualities, they can choose to stay in Heaven, or they can choose to repeat a level of the Zodiac if they so wish. A spirit might choose to repeat a level because they could feel like they didn't master a certain set of characteristics in one life as well as they could have, or they might want to come back to Earth to positively influence those around them.

In addition to Roman Catholicism and the Zodiac, I believe nature is extremely important. Every aspect of nature is vital to our well-being and can bring us closer to our spiritual self. Animals, trees, flowers, plants, water, soil, - everything. All of these things can positively influence us if we choose to embrace them. They all have spirits and they all represent something in life, so it's important to treat them with respect. It can be difficult sometimes to cherish nature, especially since we in live in a world that doesn't always involve nature in our every-day lives. I will honestly admit that I don't find myself outside a lot. You can easily call me a hypocrite, and that's somewhat true, but nature is still there and it is still important, whether we embrace it or not.

Crystals, gems, herbs, and other items found in nature can help our well-being. Crystals and gems have certain characteristics that can help us throughout life and could also have healing powers, as well as herbs. There are many ways you can use these objects to enhance your spirit and better yourself as a whole.

That about sums up my religious and spiritual beliefs. I know many people will disagree with aspects of this, if not all of it, but please understand that I'm not asking you to believe this. The purpose of me writing this down was to get all my ideas straightened out and visible to those who are interested in learning more about me and what I believe. Ugh, I don't have a problem with people having their own views on religion. That's perfectly okay, but please don't shove it down my throat. I wouldn't do that to you.

aw sweetie…not all Christians are like that. You cant base all of us off of stupid brainwashed

I know that not all Christians are like that, but I was raised Christian and now I just don't want to be around that anymore. I know it sounds messed up, but it's just my preference. Obviously I don't go around asking people if they're Christian and then deciding on our friendship like that. I would rather never talk about religion at all, but once I do find out they are Christian, I know I will never be completely comfortable around them. I guess there is a limit to it. I try to not think about that type of stuff at all, but right now religious views are at all time highs with Lent and all.
