Yiga Headcanons (because I can)

the heavier you are, the more Yiga magic stuff you can do. it's why Blademasters and Master Kohga are more powerful than a Footsoldier.

Sooga is alive in botw and totk, he just was on a mission during the first Link vs. Kohga fight, and was injured, with a broken leg or something from a Frox, during the fights in the Depths.

Kohga is actually really good at fighting with knives held in reverse grip, he just hates killing others, so he pretends to be an idiot. you can't be a monster if you're a buffoon.

Kohga has seen Link in the Hideout, disguised as a Footsoldier, but everyone is always like 'this Footsoldier? the blonde one? Master, he's the most loyal one we have!' while Kohga SEETHES.
