Resident Evil 3 falls into a strange place - being a widely wanted remake while also being a follow-up. Does it manage to set itself apart?

So, it just dawned on me that I never posted this review here. Muh bad.
The review itself got a little bit delayed - had to wait until I'd finished recording the playthrough for the channel - which meant I needed to wait for those HDMI cables to come in, which took a little while.
I also ended up being a bit busy finishing other playthroughs as well, so it fell onto the back burner for a bit.
