How does Remy react when she meets Anastasio's parents? Especially Sajna? How do you think Remy's mom would react to meeting Anastacio? Oh! Or her dad?!! He seems like he'd be super strict or something lol
Hey there Anon!! So I got some help from @wingcinna before responding to this because I wanna make sure I got this cute ask right! So Cinna said that Sajna would be suppppppeeeerrrr excited to meet Remy because Anastasio doesn't tell his Mama about his love life. And Remy is NOT allowed to meet Lucio for uh... specific reasons.... lol.
So Remy would be a total nervous wreck, not entirely because she's worried about making a good impression, but also because she's really serious about her love for Sajna's son and she really doesn't want to mess this up. But after some reassurance from Anastasio himself and getting such a warm, bubbly welcome from Sajna, she'd be really happy.
Cinna said Sajna would talk Remy's head off, but that's alright because she wants to know as much as she can about her man and his family.
Goatman, uh... I mean Lucio isn't allowed on the premises so he's doing his signature sulking behind the door. Fussing and begging poor Taro (Sajna's familiar) to let him in from behind the door 😂. And you know what? Sajna, Anastasio, Remy, and Taro had a wonderful time bonding without the goatman.
(Also, I feel like Sajna would age like a fine wine so I didn't want to change anything about her appearance)
As for Anastasio meeting Remy's parents... oh boy...
So Remy's dad (his name is Demetri) is a warmonger, well, at least he was when he was younger, but now that he's older and Indigo (Remy's mother) is back at his side (they had a really bad falling out months before Remy was born) he's calmed down quite a bit.
Anyway, back to their first meeting. Demetri is gonna get up in Anastasio's face, and try to scare him at first. You know, like "You think you're good enough to be with my daughter, tough guy?". And he'll square up to him for like 5 seconds before laughing and bringing Anastasio in for a hug. "C'mere Son! I'm just teasing! I know you're a good guy! I can just feel it!", he says, followed by Anastasio probably sighing a huge sigh of relief... Anastasio has nothing to worry about with Indigo because she's warming and welcoming the moment she sees them come up to her home. She lives on a kinda secluded island, where the weather is always sunny and a beach is always there. Indigo is a beach bum, and she pretty much takes Anastasio in as her son-in-law immediately. She can sense his aura and she can tell that he's a keeper for her daughter. She's gonna embarrass the hell out of Remy by showing Anastasio her childhood bedroom. All the toys and trinkets she used to pay with or make. She would tell him about how she would cry if she couldn't take in an animal... even if she already had like 10 already at home. She would tell Anastasio about how Remy would have full on conversations with the flamingos on the beach in front of their house. Oh but most importantly, she show Anastasio some baby pictures because that's her baby girl and she gotta show him those cute puffy cheeks.
Remy's gonna be soooooo embarrassed. "MA PLEASE!! Anastasio does not need to see my first baby dress!!" She's gonna desperately try to get her dad to help her out, but he's gonna wanna see the baby stuff too lmaoooo. I feel Anastasio would have a blast seeing Remy's childhood.
Oh, and once everybody is all calm and settled in, Demitri's gonna ask Anastasio about his fighting skills. Shoot, Remy's father has tons a scars too, so he's curious about Anastasio's too. "You wanna show me what you got?", Demetri says, knowing damn well he shouldn't ask that to her daughters boyfriend that he just met, but he went for it anyway. What Anastasio does after that... well, that's for Anastasio to decide. No but forreal, her dad gonna give him a little serious talk, you know, like "Just promise me you're gonna take care of my baby girl, okay? I feel like ya already do that, but you know, I gotta be sure".
Either way, Anastasio and Remy are love birds. 😘🥰💛💙
