I thought for a LOONG time about doing a good Scout character study fic, includibg stuffl like;

Why he's like this (egotistic, violent) due to his family, raised by brothers, trauma (that scout doesnt comprehend) about his mother, grown to be useful and that only meant being agressive to keep his family safe (for such a long time)

Autism and a combo of sonething else (narcissistic tendencies?) shaping his relationships, in a manner of 'theres something deeply wrong with me, others dont enjoy blood and are intrigued with death' 'everytime i speak something is off with hoe others look at me, so ive set to stop, and only speak knowing perfectly what others want to hear' and a 'if i do everythibg that is correct in their eyes then ill be rewarded by life'

No *romantic* experience whatsoever (i flip-flop between his sexual experience depending on mood too much to settle on one for a fic) and the wound that he has done himself about it

Fascination with his clone for the same matter, the ego isnt lost, its amplified, Scout has always quite liked himself phisically , and he well knows how to do the song and dance of socializing (so what is wrong with him? He knows there is a problem and he cant identify it)

Scoutcest!!!!!!!!!! Hate dusgusting emotionally scarribg sex!!!!!!!!!! (His clone doesnt carry the emotional weight of 27 years living, it just carries 5 years of nonstop battle and violence)

This may be cheating? odunno? Stuff that i staretd actually writting and never got to do anything with it

I been meaning to expand on the (Au) headcanons and storyline thta i had created fro Fixer and P.rick , revolving around unhealthy relationships and identity

(I figured tthat whilewritting this that talking about all these characters like nothing is kinda confusing lol, theyre the scouts from the scratched universe wich i obssesed over dring 2024)

Ideally follows a line of :

Fixer notes that despite their job, simply cleaning up battlefields post matches isnt making enough income for the now household of 3 whole beings (whose he is the only one doing taxes, or groceries, or trying for his landord to not notice said new people) [also how GOD is aintance for a robot expansive]

Matches in itself do give money, it would be more of a side thing

And HOLY is he bad at being a Scout (obviously, he has never fulfilled said role), wich ok, can be ecused as he is low rank in matvhes, is nothing, its okay, except hes bad at the mere basics of running, so its noticing

Despite almost dying, P.rick cannot really be proved to be a cheater (by the naked eye), and goes back to being a regular player in matches (he NEEDS the money), and being in a team with Fixer has proven to be a very sad display

And Fixer is also entirely making it harder to win by said difficulties

"I could hel- eh, i could show him how to do this so he stops tanking our score"

TANGENT: P.rick isnt a mere regular scout (wich already known since he is a stand user, but also by the fact hes a bit weirder code-wise, hes just aware of code and game stuff on a tangible way)

psychosexual crazyness of showing and molding another guy to one's liking , this reflects on Fixer due to knowing whta it is to be A Scout, wich is a reclaimer of his autonomy and capacity to protect himself (wich was being denied again and again by Jumpsuit), and on P.rick on probably first human being he has spent more tha a one night stand knowing properly and not being comfortable by normal human desires

Fixer as time passes kida grows bored of the arragement, because the wish he gains from it (a distance from Jumpsuit) has kinda mellowed out over time AND Fixer ends up realzing that performing exactly as a Scout should is not for him (wic he already knew, but never... tried it, and its not for him at all, god)

And P.rick is too deattached from himself and being a person , and he got what he wanted, shaping someone else (it was auphoric to see a Scout play perfectly to his code) [no its not a dysphoria about himself, shut up], actual vulnerability isnt there, never will as any oportunity as been cut by his own actions

I been meaning to write an actual *long form* fic for my OC Cherry (and his AU) for... 2? 3 years by now, and have never done more than one very short fic and not even from his perspective! Fun! So jeres a quiiickkkk summary of what i been wantinf to do since *forever*

(Theyre all based around a song that represents a part of his story!)

El Innombrable : first steps into existance fro Cherry before picking up said name, as it would've encompassed ALL the timeframe that Cherry spends trying to imitate Jeremy (dead, forever, erased due to his existamce). And the pressure of imitating a life of an actual person when he is not one at all, or so he thinks; his perseption of personhood comes from being shoved into an established identity, amd failing to do so was met with dissapointing an almost whole team (Sniper, really, who was more outspoken on Jeremy/Scout) [hashtah my out of character sniper].

Something About us : flashback piece! This is to set the pre-start of fic relationship offf Scoutcest, amd to ease up in the 'my blu clone is fucked up and hes infatuated with being like me... thats way too hot and i could mold him' from Scout/Jeremy

Habla tu espejo : present interaction between Cherry and said blu scout! And oh boy it goes BAD! This is the chapter where i wouldhave set that Cherry and Blu Scout are parallels of their life :) both existing solely to fulfill the role of the Scout class (how it affects them) . Its also a desesperation from Blu Scout point of view into trying to find Jeremy somewhere inside Cherry that Cherry despises so much (because he JUST got out of 'imitating Jeremy for months' part with his OWN DAMN TEAM)

Taking Whats not Yours : Blu Scout Pov!!!!!! Set in the midst of a incredibky high stress, high emotions, (probably risking inti delusion) episode that becomes long lasting; Blu Scout was (probably?) The closest to Jeremy, his own damn clone, his exact replica, and now J is gone, forever, and the only thing left of him is his clone; Blu Scout always found a (misplaced) comfort in being and learning more about Jeremy personal life, the stress of himself + suddenly earning your BF is death kickstarts a 'no nono, Jeremy is fine, il carry it, him, i can, i can be him'

A Las Nueve + Boys Dont Cry + Two Birds : all of these would be more spread out and more of setting down said parallels on Cherry and Blu scout personhood, i said this here because theyre the less 'worked on'

Anónimo : Cherry denial of personhood!!!! And how he justifies daid thinking, althought it starts with a hopeful picking of name it quickly sets a sour feel for the rest of the team , said new distance between his teammates sets a hatred towards Jeremy ablaze when before it was merely a light flame; it would be a chapter of Cjerry life that he rebels in only being a concept, a role, a Scout, a class for killing amd working, hes no one and nobody (really though?)

Invisible : Cherry learns that maybe theres more to life than endless jobs and violence and.. oh, he has hobbues, own ones, not Jeremy, he... enjoys spending time with somw of his team (he didnt know Pyro could be so open, or Soldier so praising for his job) . He finds an enjoyment in being an actual person, vut will not admit it yet, its only his baby steps after all!

Run Rabbit Run + Kiss me Son of God : for better flow of story these should be in a seperate fic.. but theyre essentially BLu Scout POV of his decaying existamce and trying to slavage himself, his relation with his own Medic being about trying to fix whats weong in vis mind (he shouldnt miss someone so much, he needs fixing). More about grief, pain, and learning to let go in the end

Love Like You (repise) : and end, really, as Cherry learn to be his own person, happily so, he does let Blu Scout in again, even if said In is only in mid battlefield and hazards; where Cherry understands what type of personhood Blu Scout is going thru and, surprisingly, lets him explore it freely, its finally about letting the idea of Jeremy go, and freeing *both* of them of said pressure . Its not even a relationship, its a moment, Cherry frees Blu Scout of the dead ghost who haunted both of them but Blu Scout latchen onto
