Somentimes Killpan feels overwheight me
Ahhhhhhh, and then I go re-reading all the theory posts that made so much sense and cry.
For all who do not know, there was a theory in ouat that Killian(Captain Hook) was Peter Pan. In the first seasons Peter Pan was A BIG DEAL. We all wanted him to appear
(the show went bad for me after the neverland arc though, never left a show so fast)
ok, but the thing is, before all the neverland fiasco, everyone wanted to know about peter pan, was it Neal?, was Neal Baelfire and Peter?, was peter a child?, maybe henry was peter?, Hook was peter?(also, hook was good written, but he didn’t stole the show, he was balanced with the other characters at this stage)
And well, it took me time to convince me of this theory,(thought Neal was peter for a while) but when I got into it, I was hooked(pun intended)
There were multiple versions of this theory, but the one I liked the most was the one in which both peter and Killian existed at the same time, but they were both the same person still. Like a paradox. It makes so much poetic sense, Peter Pan being captain Hook as a child, so Peter is his past, and Captain Hook being Peter adult self, his future, that is why the are always fighting each other, becuase peter does not want to grow up, and hook does not want to remember his inmature self (like in life, right?)
Peter Pan never grows because the grow version IS Captain Hook, both are the same persons
(and, looking at the theories you can see how this possibility is referenced in the books, (as meta, of course), but in the books like the pieces don’t fit just right, in this they did!)
And it was set up too! Hook having bad memory is one of the multiple things I remember pointing up to this.
But well, more than the theory being wrong I am sad that because, with this being wrong and the whole neverland fiasco there is not fics treating this dynamics, and now that the series changed so much(what season is it in now?), there will no fics that regard this as an AU either.
This theory was so well throught and had much more potencial and meaning that what we ended up getting, and I get so mad about it. THIS THEORY WAS GLORIOUS, AND NOW I DONT EVEN HAVE FANFIC ABOUT IT,
( would like it being captain swan or not, I will acept any pairing even, and gen, I want gen, goddamit,I I want Milah or the lost boys, or TInkerbell, or/and Neal and Wendy, and everyone, I want a confrontation between the two with Enma realising slowly that they are both the same person, )
(if captain swan, peter pan “flirting” with enma pararelling hook, but that happened in canon, these two had so many pararells, ahhhhhhhh)
