Friendship breakup
Losing a friend has been really hard for me, in the midst of losing a friendship. I had a friend that is still with us but the relationship has failed. This has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to go through, almost harder than a friend that has passed away, only because I knew the friend that passed still cared about me and I still cared about her. My living friend and I had a falling out over things that now don’t even matter, but I can’t seem to let go, even after years of battling with it. I have reached out, but she’s not interested. Why is a friendship breakup even harder than a romantic breakup? Is it because a friend is someone you literally share everything with and are the ones that are supposed to be there even when romantic relationships fail? Strong women should stick together and support each other, we all make mistakes. Thank goodness for the friends I still have and the relationships I have been able to maintain, I suppose this is all just part of life and learning.
When you’re out having fun and that “she’ll never be with me again” feeling suddenly hits.
