dnd highlights from my first ever campaign session today!! it was so fun ahhhh
my character is a dumbass but on every single perception check except one (13) i rolled a 3 so it was like. remila doesn't know what shops are. remila's too busy figuring out what snow is to notice anything else. someone got stabbed and remila thinks they're singing
the dm introduced this plot thing that has ties to this preestablished dark wizard or whatever that's from the campaign not us (it's a prewritten campaign cause we're doing a trial oneshot before we jump into a real campaign) and one of the other players was like oh lmao. that's my ex. he's a real dick
yeah we were supposed to finish this thing in one go but we just barely got to the beginning of the plot because our characters were too busy a) annoying each other b) adopting random npcs (that's me) and c) trying to rob everyone in sight
speaking of robbing people this one npc was like "nooo don't steal that i'm making it for my wife's birthday it's very special" and the character was like ok lmao. and then stole it and had no regrets. she even offered to help the npc track the thief down asdfghhgfddfghhgf
on our wisdom and perception checks everyone kept rolling like 1-10 except for this one person who kept getting like nat 20s + bonuses so it's like. howl sees an imp assassin in the back about to stab the singer!!!. everyone else is like ooh pretty song.
