I put that last disclaimer on that last ask because...
Not everyone wants to use their blog to educate the whole world, nor should they be obligated to. This isn't my personal blog. This blog is a side project that started as a project for a women's studies class and became something more. I enjoy answering questions and being a resource - because this isn't my personal blog. A lot of the people I reblog from - that IS their personal blog. They are not here to educate, be politically correct, identify as "social justice", or feel any obligation to anyone but them and the people who understand them. Therefore, just cause you found something off of MY blog, doesn't mean that person will feel like educating you, providing you with links and explaining why they believe what they believe to you. Some people don't like their spaces intruded and their conversations co-opted. Doesnt mean you can't follow them, but it also doesn't mean you should go and reblog everything they post an force them to relate it to you either. Idk. I never really run into issues with my followers but I don't want to promote the idea of "here are a punch of POC who are solely here to educate you" either. Yafeelme?
