She keeps one ear pod in, likes background noise when she’s perusing a store, a nice quick paced track list. It’s part of the flirtation dance. She’ll test the waters with a sales associate and if they’re charmed by her she’ll finally take out the other ear pod, so they can feel important, like they’ve charmed her too. Remi isn’t truly charmed by anyone, doesn’t even like herself that much, but it distracts the associates enough that she can get handsy. Nothing big, nothing important. She’s not looking to steal value, it’s random little things that catch her eye.
Today it’s a turquoise bracelet, simple, actually kind of cheap looking, but it absolutely has to leave this store with her. She ignores it for now though, hasn’t found the store associate yet and she needs to be the picture perfect model of a good innocent consumer. “Excuse me?” The only other person she can see is a boy in the corner, looking intensely bored. “Don’t take offense but you give off “dead inside retailworker vibes”. Do you work here?”
