#throwback to #2015 but taken on 14/12/2017: the using of the #littleindiariot as the backdrop to ramp up #policepatrol in #publicplaces (in #littleindia and #geylang) indefinitely is not justifiable! More so, the #liquorcontrolact does not only “aim to minimize #publicdisorder and #disamenities arising from #drinking in #public”, it renders the #impossibilities of #agency that is needed for any #civic #dialogues between #thestate and it’s #people through an #authoritarian approach!
