Always Watching: Remus Lupin One shot 🌙

Hihihi hehe, so I never ever write for a man but, Remus is my little guy so 🥺 He's different. I have very few men I would go to the ends of the earth for and he's one of them <3

I hope everyone enjoys the small piece of fluff!

Warning: Fluff, slight mentions of sadness but only a little. Kisses, cuddles and MORE FLUFF! Oh and separation :(

It was currently raining and storming. Layed across Remus' lap inside the library , you decided to close your eyes. You guys were in the sixth year and he loves you madly. He's never really received the love he was supposed to get from his parents. You gave him all the love.

Gently running your palm over his sweater in your sleep. Remus looks down at you In adoration and amusement, gently running his fingers through your hair. You couldn't nuzzle anymore into him then you already are. He just hugs you tighter.

Sleep seems to happen for a while, maybe two hours or so? It's getting a little late. Yawning softly , your eyes flutter open and he's their to greet you In gentleness. His voice slightly deep and his accent soft, "Hello their babydoll, sleep well?"

You smile softly, your doe eyes adjusting to the light as you look around the library. It's dimmed in soft lights and the air is consumed in fermented earth and chocolate musk cologne.

"Mmm it was lovely remmy, thank you for holding me..You're so comfortable. I love you."

His heart melts at your sleepy confession, and he smiles warmly; gently bending down to peck your nose and lips. His brown eyes warm and full. "I love you too..so much. More than I could ever say." You smile shyly, blushing.

Looking at the time you suddenly get sad, realizing it's time to go back to your separate dorms; raising slightly from his lap you say sadly,"My love, the Hufflepuff common rooms are closing soon." He looks up at you in almost a reluctant gaze.

"Right. You should head back before they lock you out. Want me to walk you?" You nod, looking sad. You pout as Remus cups your cheeks, chuckling softly.

"Come on then. I'll make sure you get there safe." You grasp his hand making it out of the library. He walks beside you , his arm wrapping protectively around your waist. The path to Hufflepuff is quiet and dark.

He turns to you, his voice soft and full of hope. "You'll come see me tomorrow?" Remus doesn't want to be separated for to long. You nod immediately, "Oh yes, yes absolutely, please?"

Remus' eyes light up at your eager response, and he squeezes you gently. "Good. I'll be waiting by the library after class. We can check out some books and just read while we cuddle."

"That sounds so lovely, I can't wait!" You wrap your arms tightly around his neck and he immediately melts; wrapping his arms around you back tenderly. Remus takes a momet to breathe in your scent, memorizing every note. Leather, earth and vanilla. It calms him. You do the same, a soft smile on your face.

"I will be watching the marauders map for your steps.." he feels happy and proud that you care the way you do. "Always watching out for me , aren't you? Never getting tired of me?" Remus pulls back slightly, giving you one last kiss before whispering ; "Sweet Dreams my little mapper."

"Forever, I will always watch and I will never tire. Sweet Dreams Moony." You wave to him and he waves back, never leaving until he sees the door shut completely to the Hufflepuff common room.

It was a dim day, the lights outside a bit dark from the stormy weather. You're sitting at a desk inside Professor Lupin's class room by yourself because others just don't understand you. They choose not to so why make yourself available to get hurt more?

Remus always pays attention to you tho, always watches to make sure no one is picking on you or whatever you need at all. Even when you least expect it.

You forgot your jacket at home, and you instantly regretted it.

Of course you did. It was typical "You" behavior. You're just going through a lot so your mind is running ragged.

Remus is at his desk, grading papers as the class continues to work. He gets to your papers ,reading them throughly and he's taken by surprise and intrigue at the stories you've written. He taps his pen slightly on the paper, watching the class to make sure no one needs help.

He catches you. Shivering and cold. He grows concerned and his brow furrow lightly. He clears his throat quietly as he stands, walking around the class, checking on everyone's papers.

He's distracting everyone, distracting you as you watch closely. You always thought Professor Lupin was beautiful. Not just for his looks but his attitude about teaching and life. You admired the 3 scars across his face, slightly faded but still visible. His little mustache, not overdone ; but just right in your opinion.

You're not really the type to find many people fascinating or attractive, let alone men but when he came into your life, things changed. Lupin never scared you or made you feel uncomfortable. He was a ray of sunshine you didn't really know you needed in your life.

It was strange ,yes, because he's your college professor but, Its not like anything is happening. It's just an innocent crush and admiration. It was really cold in his class tho. Usually when you had your coat or sweatshirt the temperature was perfect but you weren't so lucky today.

Professor Lupin makes his way over to you, nodding at you In a gentle kind way as he begins to remove his suit jacket. Your face heats up immediately. Uh..uh..what's going on? Is he really-

"Here you are..." his voice soft and quiet as he drapes it over you. Your heart feels like it's going to run laps out of your chest. You look up at him in shock and shyness. The minute the soft fabric hits your cold flesh, you're met with warmth.

The smell of chocolate and earthy musk filling your nostrils and you melt into your seat slightly. He smiles and looks proud. Swallowing down your nerves, you hold the jacket over your shoulders asking him quietly, "w..why professor?" He leans down next to your ear so that only you can hear him.

"Because, I see you forgot your sweater again and you look to be freezing. I need you comfortable so you can write more of these." He gestures to your paper. "This is a work of pure art darling. I knew you could do it, I've always believed in you."

You become tear eyed as you sniffle, covering your face as you process these emotions.

"Oh-..don't cry now.." he coos gently, rubbing your back. His expression soft and warm, "You did an excellent job, what a beautiful way with words."

"T..thank you so much, y..you- I mean this means everything to me." You're struggling not to cry harder, the class has now kinda turned their attention to you.

His expression softens even more, clearing his throat again to get everyone to turn back around In their seats before continuing,

"You're capable of great things love, just keep going and stay strong." You nod at his words, he has no idea what they mean to you, how much he means to you. All you can say is thank you, with doe like baby deer eyes full of tears. You've been holding back so much pain and the feeling of being misunderstood. It just all pours now.

You know you're in a safe place tho. In his class, with him ,even if their are others watching and listening. Remus takes care of you. He always does. He always will.
