You know when there's a closeup on a cartoon and it's super detailed and it just adds something funny or gross to the moment? That's brought to you by ( in my opinion) the greatest show to grace the planet ren&stimpy. I watched it as a kid and that was my favorite thing about the show and when spongebob came out and they started doing it it just spread and now it's the norm. Long story short, just like the artists of ren&stimpy. Sometimes you do something for shits and giggles and you don't think much about it but it can spread and change everything for the better.
