Okay first off ghoulverse Max and Oscar are so beloved to me because in md(abmtoumm) on ao3 I love the platonic brotherly relationship!! Just Max dragging Oscar everywhere when they first meet cause he's got a playmate now and then dragging him to political shit he doesn't want to do. They have a special place in my heart T_T

Okay, but mafia boss Max being like "this is my new favorite" and pointing to Oscar and everyone giving Oscar so much shit for it until they realize WHY. Just imagine Oscar is sitting somewhere, probably eating with Max's girl, who he's been charged to protect and he pulls a gone on someone while taking bites of his waffles.

"Don't ruin my breakfast, mate." But guess what?! Breakfast gets ruined and Oscar looks so grumpy and now there is some guy with a bullet in his head while the two of them finish eating.

Hence! Being Max's favorite and Oscar just shrugging when people ask how it happened.

This is a good theory. I like this theory.

But I raise you:

Carlos not realizing his love for Lando UNTIL Oscar is with him. Unrequited love one way from Lando turns into Carlos not seeing what he missed until he doesn't have it.

Carlos being upset with Oscar for no reason aside from seeing what Carlos didn't. Oscar got the guy, and Carlos is left to wallow in self-pity.

Okay, this is actually like where my brain goes and it's terribly smut ridden but I don't care.

Max is the dominate in between the two of them and you can't convince me Lando is not a bottom. There is not any picture I see of him that makes me think otherwise and his Australia excursion only proves it. That being said....

I am craving soft and comforting Norstappen x reader. I’m going through so much mentally, how good would it be to have them to get you out of a rut. Get you to the next Grand Prix to hang out, get your mind off, keep you company and get you through all the hard and negative stuff. Look after you when you can’t.

Okay but hear me out... Lando and Max combined would be so good at comforting.

Lando is a big advocate for mental health and open about his own struggles. He'd come armed with a self-care experience and the promise of cuddles afterwards.

Max has emotional support cats and he's a walking teddy bear. Also looks like the kind of guy to tell everybody else to fuck off so he can spend time with you.

Imagine trying to convince the two of them you aren't having a hard day. They look at each other knowingly. Lando goes in for a hug and when the tears start Max carries you to bed.

It's all soft praise and reassurance. It's them telling you how brave you're being to fight off your own mind. It's them being understanding because they get it.

I personally think that Carlos, Max, Daniel and Oscar would be the best softdoms. Pardon me as I go on a rant about this...

Max is basically a teddy bear. The man is dad coded and a provider at heart and you can't convince me otherwise. He might not be the best at reading the specifics of what you would need but would definitely take over once he understood what you needed. Would probably have you cockwarm him while he's SIM racing, occasionally stroking your back until he gets you to fall asleep.

Oscar seems to good at reading people to not understand what you need. Like, every fucking interaction he has with Lando is usually him adapting to what Lando needs. He'd know what you needed before you even did. He'd have you on your knees with his dick in your mouth as he answers emails and pets your head.

Daniel gives me playful vibes. Like he know what you need but makes you ask for it anyway. He would actually just make your brain melt to stop the thoughts and then make all the decisions for you so thinking is unnecessary. Goodluck moving since he's literally fucked you stupid but he'll take care of you afterwards, so it's worth it.

Carlos is a combination of the three. He's a little old fashioned and wants to make you feel royalty. That being said, he's not going to make you ask for what you need because he can see it in your eyes. He'll check in, sure, but he isn't going to make you beg. He'll get you all melty first and then make all the thoughts go away in whatever way he deems necessary. You're completely at his mercy by the time he's done with you, but your head would be quiet and Carlos is there to keep you sane through it all.

(Hello new anon! Thanks for joining me and starting a rant!)

Don't get me STARTED on the psychology that is Max Verstappen. His mind is my obsession and how anyone could ever paint him as a villain hasn't been through trauma with a parent (or hasn't realized that they have).

Like, joking about trauma is a very clear indicator?? "My dad did that once to a mechanic??" I'm sorry??? Max, baby, that's not something you're supposed to laugh about...

Key word here is supposed. I laugh about my trauma all the time and it concerns my therapist.

It sucks that Max's personal life is out there for the media to pick apart. I've seen debates about Jos' parenting style and how he has given Max everything. I don't see any ungrateful bone in Max's body. If he was, then Jos would've been out of Max's life the second he turned eighteen.

So then people ask: if Jos is a bad parent, why is he still around Max?

Answer: Traumaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Good god, are people so ignorant? It's hard to detach from a parent! Specially one who you spent all your time with! You get used to it eventually, you figure out how to cope and then you know nothing else aside from that.

All those times Max was driving recklessly when he was younger? I've listened back to his radio. He was in fight or flight because he had learned early on that it's better to risk crashing and injuring himself then placing lower.

I did the same thing! I was good at archery. Like, I was giving adults a run for their money at the age of thirteen. I switched from a recurve bow to a compound and about two weeks before a tournament. It was an absolute pain because it was an entirely different way of shooting.

I have this memory of my dad driving me to his friends house to sight in some longer distances the day before. As in, crunch time. We were out there in the cold and rain for hours. I was sore already because constantly pulling back sixty pounds of resistance with just your arms gets tiring. I broke so many fundamental rules; the ones my instructors were specific about. However, I knew it was break myself or my dad was going to lash out.

Anyway, I tore two muscles in my dominant arm by the end of the day. I got home and my dad went to shower so I hid with my mom in the kitchen icing it to hopefully lessen the pain.

I placed second in regionals. My dad lectured me in the car on the way home. He said the injury was my own fault. The doctor I saw said they didn't know how I managed and my instructors said I couldn't shoot at the range for over a month.

My dad hailed me a hero to everyone who asked about it.

Jos Verstappen is so outwardly aggressive that anyone who has been through something similar can see what's happening. Just because he's done a lot for Max doesn't negate the other behaviors. This isn't math, you can't cross cancel, two negatives don't make a positive.

Carlos and the Audi rumors, I think, played a pretty big role. We already knew they were struggling with a contract for him. I'm gutted that he won't be with Ferrari anymore, but there is a part of me wondering if he was done with Ferrari anyway. I hope if things with Audi fall through that he can find a seat because I'd hate to see him leave the grid.

Fingers crossed for Alex or Mick get the Mercedes seat. Robert or Fred would also be nice to see in a seat.

*We aren't talking about Liam because I'm manifesting Daniel switching to redbull and Liam getting the other alphatauri seat. Let me be delulu!!

I think Lewis is going to have a rough year. George is going to be the priority this season as he moves into a first driver role. I'm excited to see George take on more of a leadership role! I think he'll have no issues with that.

I just want to know why he's moving. What prompted this decision after he just re-signed his contract. Give me the reasons!! Someone find me the facts!! I need to know why he did it!!

As a fanfic writer and lestappen girl, I can saftley say I will be using this. It brings new dynamics, and I'm mildly optimistic about a change for Ferrari and Charles. Maybe having Lewis as a teammate will help him learn how to use his voice more!
