The only reason why Carlos is gunning for Oscar is because he (Carlos) is jealous of Landoscar, in a THAT SHOULD BE ME HOLDING YOUR HAND manner

Obviously this is a joke but 😭

This is a good theory. I like this theory.

But I raise you:

Carlos not realizing his love for Lando UNTIL Oscar is with him. Unrequited love one way from Lando turns into Carlos not seeing what he missed until he doesn't have it.

Carlos being upset with Oscar for no reason aside from seeing what Carlos didn't. Oscar got the guy, and Carlos is left to wallow in self-pity.

I think it worked well with what I was trying to achieve even though I wasn't intending on writing it that way! Like Oscar didn't fucking know Lando was gonna bolt so what better way to put him in his place by stepping on him and essentially humiliating him by making him piss while he's down there-

Anyway! AHEM-

Lando is just so bottom coded?? And he fits all the roles of it???? He could be a brat or a good boy or a pillow princess... he doesn't discriminate. Which fits really well with top/dom Oscar because he also can fit everything????

Like, okay, I wasn't convinced on brat tamer Oscar because he seemed too nice and very softdom coded (my favorite version of him to write tbh). Then I was like 'okay but is he? Truly, quick witted Oscar who can be mean when he wants to be? Is he REALLY only a softdom?' I was wrong and mean dom osc or brat tamer is such a fun version.

Lando just being an absolute brat and he knows it and Oscar being very patient and Lando's like 'oh, he's gonna snap eventually.' It's a lie. Oscar will not snap. Oscar will strip him and tie him to the bed, then edge him until he cries in-between chapters of his novel.

.... whoops that's a lot but I could go on about this for ages 🫠

what about lando being worried oscar is mad at him because of the fan backlash oscar is facing from lando’s “fans” and oscar needing to go full soft loving dom mode on sad/worried lando

I think it would be more Lando being anxious about Oscar thinking Lando is upset with him. Like, Oscar is already upset at himself and pissed off with how his own race went. Lando praised him in public, said it was fair, and yet he's still worried the media is gonna get through to Oscar before he does.

Lando's in his head, wondering if they’re gonna talk about it. They have to talk about it, but what is he even supposed to say?!

The answer is nothing! Because Lando us so far gone that words don't exist anymore and Oscar isn't good with words anyway. They fuck about it instead ;)

Oscar being intuitive KNOWS it's not the time to be hard or mean or even sarcastic. Man will show his love and adoration through taking Lando apart piece by piece. Until he's finally gotten it through to Lando that they are gonna be fine.
