Renato slowly nodded his head as he looked at the other. He had realized that the other had stopped talking and was clearly expecting some kind of response. The problem was that Renato hadn't been paying a lick of attention. "Right... uh... " He paused, unsure of what to say which only made it that much more obvious that he hadn't been listening. "Sorry. I was just thinking about a new design I had. I promise I'm not trying to ignore you." Renato often wound up lost in his own thoughts and blind to the world around him. "I promise I'm listening this time... Mostly."
