There's simply NOT enough rendog fanfiction out there. I'm struggling. Thinking of posting my own here pretty soon! Going to try out some x reader because there's just really not enough out there. This is my plea to fans.

My relief, My love~Rendog x reader

*Warning, deaths mentioned*

(Tired of being stressed while dealing with the pranks going on between their neighbors and getting her base caught in the middle, dear reader or Y/N tries to find some relief after yelling at two of their neighbors. Thankfully, our resident 'Gigacorps' member is there to help them out*

Being a hermit was exciting, fun, and stressing all at the same time and for one in particular, it was stressful as of late. Y/N was not having the best time right now and it was starting to show. Their base had been in the line of sight for pranks between Grian, Scar, and Doc and was now covered in both chickens and ender dragon eggs. "How is it even possible? Ender eggs....there only supposed to be one and I believe Pearl has it?" Y/N griped as they used the limited redstone knowledge they had to get rid of the eggs without making them teleport to another area. 'The chicken thing can be dealt with later...I'll just unleash the foxes on them.' Y/N thought before sitting down and sighing, watching as the redstone did its work. 

After a long time...roughly three hours or so, Y/N put the eggs away in chests before taking off to find Grian and Scar, Doc....Doc scared them and they knew he did not mean to drag Y/N's base into all this. "GRIAN! SCAR!" Y/N yelled out as they spotted the two who jumped and turned to look at Y/N before trying to take off. "Oh no you don't....." Y/N stopped and pulled out their bow-'GreenArrowIsBetterThanHotGuy' and shot several arrows at the two, killing them in the process. 'GoodTimesWithScar was slain by Y/N using 'GreenArrowIsBetterThanHotGuy' 'Grian was slain by Y/N using 'GreenArrowIsBetterThanHotGuy'. Y/N's pager went off with notifications and comments as to why they did that. Y/N waited until the two reappeared to get their things and put their hands on their hips. "You two....why....do you realize that I too, share border with the 'Perimeter'? And as a result, you both have caused MY BASE to be drug into this prank war you have with Doc." Y/N ranted and the two hermits winced as they continued the ranting. 

"Three double chests full of dragon eggs on my base and let us not start with the chicken thing!" Y/N finished saying while Grian and Scar looked at them with sheepish and embarrassed looks. "Why isn't Doc part of this though? The eggs came from him!" Grian tried to argue but Y/N gave him a look. "Doc didn't swing first...you did when you touched his device. Grian....you know what happens when you try to touch anything with redstone!" Y/N said while shaking their head. "We're sorry, Y/N....we didn't mean to drag your base into this....we'll make it us to you!" Scar offered and Y/N gave him look before sighing. "Just...end this soon, please." Y/N begged before they took off, not noticing a certain dog-hybrid take off after them as he had seen the death notifications and had been on his way to see what had happened, maybe even offer to help clean up the base. 

RenDog followed Y/N until they came to a stop near the river that flowed through the original spawn area and landed a few feet behind her. Y/N sighed and sat down on one of the rocks, pulling out a fishing line and cast it into the water as Rendog came and sat beside them. "I was going to come and help you clean up your base. Doc and I felt really bad about it." Y/N turned to look at Rendog who offered a slice of 'Giga Pie' with a slight smile. "Yeah, when we realized that some of the eggs ended up on your base and the chickens...that Doc and I had no idea would happen." Rendog said and Y/N shook their head fondly. Of all the hermits, Y/N could not be angry with Ren when he did things...like the whole 'Ren The King' thing, they may have been on the resistance, but they could not feel any anger towards Ren and helped get him his strength back. 

"Tell you what...come with me. I know the new additions have happened and I think I found a biome you have been looking for." Rendog said as he stood up and Y/N put the fishing rod away and followed Ren. They kept flying until several small pink petals started floating in Y/N's face and they smiled as Rendog landed in a Cherry Tree biome. Y/N landed as well and looked around, sighing with a smile on their face as they held a few of the petals in their hands. "Thanks Ren." Y/N said as they sat under one of the trees and Rendog followed suite and the two just sat under the trees enjoying the breeze and petals falling down around them. "I know I have said this a lot, since we last met on HC-S8, but Ren....I love you." Y/N said as they curled themselves into Ren's chest and Ren smiled, putting an arm around Y/N and held them close. "And I love you, Y/N." He gave a kiss to Y/N's head. 

A while later, Y/N flew back to her base, not seeing any chickens which made them smile, but what also made them smile was that the fourth part of their 'High Tower' base had been added...with Cherry blossom wood too! As they walked in, there were two signs, one written by Grian and another written by Scar. 'Sorry about the mess...hope the addition of a fourth part on your tower helps! Love, your friendly gremlin, Grian!' Y/N smiled and put the sign away before looking at the one from Scar and rolled their eyes. 'Added some new additions to your birthday/wedding cake base! Again, sorry about the whole prank thing. Love, your favorite archer!' "Scar.....it is not a birthday cake! Or wedding cake!" Y/N said with a small smile on their face and put the other sign away as well before going to bed, the moments with Ren going through their head as they fell asleep.

So, the reason for the birthday cake base thing is because my base in Minecraft currently is literally shaped like a different flavored tiered cake!

Also, finally saw what Rendog looked like behind camera....and holy crap he is hot!!! Love the grey, sorry 'wisdom' hairs on his head.

Idea

So.....I am sitting here watching Hermitcraft vids and I had an idea come to me....RenDoc x Y/N(or just Ren with some Doc thrown in there) (and Y/N would have female pronouns for this)

She is also known as ThatSirenY/N because she sings when she builds her bases and shops and sometimes the other hermits will literally just watch her and call out songs for her to sing

Premise is that Y/N is new to Hermitcraft 8(dubbed Planet 8-HC) and she is part of Botem and as the 8th season arc plays out, she starts to develop feelings for Ren(and Doc if that is what people want) and then the climatic end of Hermitcraft 8 happens and she doesn't have time to express how she truly feels until the arrival at Hermitcraft 9 and goes through the story arcs that happen during season 9(like she would be conflicted as to whether or not she is on the side of the resistance, Ren's side or neutral like Doc during the KingRen story)....though she finally gets to confess her feelings.

*Would also include smut because I want some*

The Dog-Knight and his Lady Siren~Last Life!RenDog One Shot

Y/N uses female pronouns in this one.

*Where instead Rendog pledges loyalty to another instead of Lizzie/LDShadowlady*

Y/N, or as she was known to her friends, ThatSirenY/N, raced through the woods trying to get away from the monsters who were attacking her. She accepted an invitation from a mutual friend named Grian to join in this game called 'Last Life' and in this game, if you had four or more lives, you were dark green, 3 lives you were lime, 2 had you at yellow and red was only one. Y/N had bet one of her lives, thus making her go from four to three quickly and now, she had to race back to her home that she built, near Lizzie's fairy fort when an arrow nearly pierced her shoulder. "AH!" Y/N screamed as she jumped into the water to avoid the monsters again when suddenly a flash of red came out of no where and fought off the monsters before turning to look at Y/N.

"Are you alright, my lady?" An accented voice asked and Y/N looked up to see a fellow lifer standing there with a small smile on his face. He had dark brown hair, blue eyes, dog ears...wait dog ears? "Uh..yeah. Just trying to get back to my base. I made a bet with Tango and didn't think to stay at his place during the night." Y/N said as she stood up in the water while the man laughed. "I'm Y/N...but my friends call me ThatSirenY/N or Siren." The young woman offered her hand and the dog-man helped her out of the water. "Nice to meet you, I am Rendog. Let me help you get back to your house...shall we?" Rendog offered a hand and Y/N took it with a smile and the two headed off back to Y/N's base, stopping first to drop off something at Lizzie's fairy fort before heading for 'Siren's Loft' as Y/N called it. 

"This looks comfy." Ren noted as he walked through the gates and Y/N smiled as she put her armor and stuff in a chest. "Thanks...Not my best build, that would be a lighthouse and fort I made once on my own." Y/N said as she walked back and handed something to Ren. "I know it is not much, but this is some of what I managed to gather while mining earlier." Y/N handed Ren a few of the more valuable mined resources and he stared at her in shock. "Consider it as a 'Thank you' for helping me get back to my base safely." Y/N said  with a smile and put them in his hand but her smile soon fell as he put the resources on the ground and knelt before, holding his axe out. "I pledge my sword....axe...to help you, Siren Lady. Until my last life." Rendog pledge to Y/N who stared at him with a shocked expression. "Oh...okay then." Y/N said looking confused as Rendog stood up. 

"I take it you did not know what happened last time we were all gathered for a "Life" series...it ended in a war." Rendog said and Y/N nodded. "I remember Grian and Scar talking about that...you....became the 'Red King' or something like that." Y/N spoke and Rendog blushed before clearing his throat. "Right, anywhoosle, you are new to all this and hopefully you will gain more lives soon. Might I suggest teaming up with the Shadowlady?" Rendog suggested and Y/N nodded. "I will consider it, Rendog...and thank you for helping me." Y/N said as Rendog smiled before leaving the 'Siren's Loft', a weird funny feeling in his chest as did so while Y/N watched him leave, the smile never leaving her face until he was far from sight. 'He's cute....like really cute. And the accent too....' Y/N thought to herself before going back to taking care of her small farm.

'Pearlescentmoon was slain by Rendog'

Carnage....blood....red everywhere. 'Ren was right...it does end in wars.' Y/N thought as she stood in the Siren's Loft, getting ready to rig it with traps when she heard a grunt and someone falling. Y/N turned to see Rendog, also red, limping and breathing heavily. Y/N got her sword out but Ren shook his head. "No...I am not here to hurt you. I am here to help you." Ren spoke as he took another breath and Y/N could see the start of the transition of lives. "Ren...no!" Y/N tried to argue but Ren shook his head again. "I would rather use my last life to help you than to use it against you. With two lives, you will be able to go against Scott and hopefully win." Rendog said as he took Y/N's hand in his and she glanced at their hands before surging forward and hugging him as she felt his life become hers. "Thank you...Ren..." Y/N softly said as she lowered Ren's body to the ground and watched as his body turned gray and this fizzled into nothing. 

'Rendog has died'

Y/N let out a scream on pain and anger before standing up and wiping the tears from her face. She managed to use her limited knowledge of redstone to rig her base before standing there, waiting for Scott/Smajor to appear. "SCOTT!" Y/N yelled out as Scott appeared and the smirk disappeared and he looked at her in shock. "Wait...how...you're supposed to be red, not yellow!" Scott yelled in shock and Y/N smirked before firing several arrows near Scott's feet. "A loyal knight gave his last life for me to win...and win I shall!" Y/N yelled out as she dodged the arrows from Scott and weaved through the top of her base and surrounding forest before jumping down and flicking the switches, setting off the TNT underneath her house. 

Soon, she ran out of arrows and her and Scott were caught in a sword fight as fire surrounded them and TNT still went off. "Your yellow life is mine!" Scott sneered as he pushed Y/N's sword out of her hands and tried to stab her but Y/N dodged out of the way and grabbed stray arrow, notching it in her bow, she turned around and let the arrow go, watching as it hit Scott/Smajor between the eyes, his body falling to the ground, turning gray, and fizzled into nothing. 'Smajor1995 was slain by ThatSirenY/N using 'YellowStinger'. 

"I did it...I actually won!" Y/N cheered before her smile fell as she remembered Rendog and his sacrifice. "Well...I guess there is only one thing left to do...." Y/N closed her eyes as she felt a zap and then nothingness. The Siren's Loft, Fairy Fort....everything within this horrid game of Last Life, destroyed by fire, explosions and everything in between. But, the stories will live on of the 'Yellow Siren Queen' and how she won the battle of 'Last Life', despite being new to the whole world anyways.
