In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take just a few minutes, and don’t think too hard - they don’t have to be the “right” “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends and make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Rick Riordan): this series was my childhood and the books still never fail to make me laugh
The Underland Chronicles (Suzanne Collins): the writing isn't great but the plot is genius. currently rereading & crying about it
The Secret Life of Bees (Sue Monk Kidd): a lot of people i know don't like this book (probably bc it was required reading so i don't blame them) but i really loved it
The Book Thief (Markus Zusak): possibly my favorite book.
Fangirl (Rainbow Rowell): i finished this book in a day bc it was so beautiful
A Series of Unfortunate Events (Lemony Snicket): also my childhood
Boy Meets Boy (David Levithan): I also read this in a day. I love how idealistic it is bc those are the kind of books i need sometimes
Every Day (David Levithan): this book is amazing pls read it
Ender's Game (Orson Scott Card): this fucking book man.
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (Benjamin Alire Saenz): this is really beautiful and so important
The Song of Achilles (Madeline Miller): i read this book in a day. at first it was sweet and happy but then it spiraled down into a pit of agony. if you don't read it i will fight you
The Witches (Roald Dahl): my childhood
