Over time, Tron had become very patient, and it wasn't just from his solitude. He understood Beck's... extended breaks from his Renegade training ("extended" because they were longer than what he would have liked, but Beck was a young Program and couldn't afford not to have them) and when the Renegade returned, Tron attempted to interfere with his life as less as possible. During Beck's absences, Tron usually found something to busy himself with, such as checking status reports, maintaining the healing chamber, running some training simulations himself to keep him from completely becoming incapable, or, when everything else was done, even just going off by himself (not like that was hard to do anymore) and thinking for a while. At the moment, Tron was much too busy to do the last, but he found a few moments to stand at the window and reflect.
When Beck returned to the base, Tron was just finished requesting another report, this one an attempt to hack into the databases of Tesler's ship to see what types of artillery were being imported. Tron heard Beck enter, and he greeted his apprentice without turning around.
"It's about time you came back," he commented, minimizing the window. With a smirk, he added, "Have fun?"
