anonymously send a six word story describing the mun.
What's one thing you've been dying to ask the mun?
[text:] Hey, Rinz! How's the kitten? Have you chosen a name for it yet? You been taking good care of it I hope.
Looking at the text, Rinzler almost feels the need to scoff. Of course he had been taking care of that...thing...or Kitten, as it was apparently called. As for a name, he hadn't really thought about that. It just hadn't occurred to him to name it. Going over to where the small thing was curled on the floor, Rinzler picked it up and inspected it briefly. The 'kitten' made a small noise of protest at being picked up before the security program started to scratch its head, causing it to relax and start purring again.
Rinzler stared at the small thing and thought to himself, "What should I call you?"
What is Rinzler to you?
"Rinzler is a friend. There are times that I value his counsel. And I appreciate that he protects me."
"...W-will a-al-w-waysss p-prrrotect, S-sir-rr"
"⊠Rrrr-Re-ally?"
"Yes, Rinzler.." he softly said, "I do consider you as a friend."Â (( BAM. XD ))
Rinzler just stared at the entertainment program, in slight disbelief. Eckertâs words confused him. What reason could he possibly have for finding friendship in someone like the Enforcer?? The security program racked his processors for an answer, but came up with a blank. He could feel a knot forming in the back of his throat, and felt as though his rattle might start stuttering. Forcing these sensations and his feelings back, he tried to clear his head. When he was finally able to collect himself somewhat, he looked back to the other program and asked softly, ââŠW-w-h-hy-y?â
"You werenât heartless to my sufferings." he explained in simplicity, "You acted as a friend would."Â Eckert could understand the confusion. It wasnât likely that an Entertainment Program and a Security Program, no matter the caliber, would ever get along.Â
Eckert's words still confused him. He knew that he had been there a few times when the other program had gotten into fights with Dyson, but he hadn't really thought that he'd been very helpful during those situations.Â
Still unsure of how to respond to Eckert, he gazed down at the ground, slightly uncomfortable, but still feeling grateful to the Entertainment program for some reason. Very quietly, he mumbled a soft, "Th-tha-a-nk...y-you". It was the only thing he could think to say.Â

"...D-do-o...s-st-illl l-love T-trrrron??"
"As much as I hate to admit itâŠ.I still do. Though a large portion of it is hate. Apparently hate and love can exist in the same body."
Rinzler thought about for a moment. He wasn't entirely sure how to respond to that. Briefly, he considered letting Tron know, but the last time that had happened things had not ended very well and the Enforcer didn't really want to repeat that incident.Â
He processed what Dyson had told him for a few more nanos, trying to puzzle out how love and hate could exist together. No matter what way he looked at it, he couldn't figure it out. Deciding to leave that particular riddle for later, he asked another question, one he wasn't really sure if he would get a clear answer to either. "...W-wh-y?", he rattled hoarsely, silently hoping that the Marshal might reveal more to him about who Tron was. It seemed everytime he tried to learn more about the voice in his head, he met dead ends. Maybe Dyson could help him understand.Â

Rinzler blinks drearily, still somewhat sleepy from his last rest-cycle. For some reason, he canât really remember actually initiating it, but he supposes he must have, or he wouldnât have been asleep at all. He sighs and closes his eyes again, still weary. Maybe it would be alright if he just slept a few more nanos. Clu probably wouldnât mind too much. And besides, his bed was so warm.
A little too warm, actuallyâŠRinzler opened his eyes again and looked about. Only to be met with the bright golden glow of his Luminaryâs circuits. His bare circuits, the Enforcer realized. Suddenly, Rinzler no longer felt tired at all. In fact he felt rather panicked. Scrambling, he tried desperately to separate himself from Clu, attempting to leap quickly off the bed.
However, this attempt was met with some strange forcefield, which only served to push him back to his original location. He tried a few more times only to be met with the same results. Miserable, he tried to inch partially off of his leader, without much success, before whimpering quietly, âE-ermâŠS-sirrr?â
"Th-ank y-you", Rinzler whispers quietly, relieved at his leaderâs response. At the mention of Dyson however, he felt another wave of nervousness. The Marshall would definitely be furious if he found out about this. The Enforcer nodded, âW-wonât t-tellâ, he mumbled.Â
Rinzler wouldnât have minded shifting his position slightly to get a little more comfortable, but he was still fairly anxious and didnât want to do anything that would bother the Luminary.Â
Eventually, he opened his eyes a crack, still too timid to actually look at Clu. However, when he noticed the pattern of his Administratorâs circuits, he suddenly found it nearly impossible to look away. Because Cluâs circuits had the same sort of patterns that his did.Â
"âŠA-arrre l-ik-e m-i-ineâŠ" he murmured softly, and mostly to himself, almost forgetting Cluâs presence for a nano.
Clu was always self-concious about the patterns of his circuitry. He didnât have the simple patterns the other Grid programs had. He had a more intricate pattern that he thought made him look busy.
But he did see the similarities between his own delicate lines and the red ones on Rinzler. A different pattern to be sure but there were enough similarities that had him wondering.
He would not have minded shifting onto his side but his shoulders seemed fixed to the mattress. Rinzler was not heavy by any means but he was growing increasingly restless. Things he had to do. He had told Jarvis to excuse him from any meetings but still.
The Admin was the sort to wonder what it would be like to spend an entire micro in bed, albeit under differing circumstances. He had his answer. It was nothing but irritating when you were used to working like a madman.
He continued to gaze at his superiorâs circuits until he realized that he was staring, and that was probably rude of him, and he didnât want to do anything more to upset his Commander. Quickly, he screwed his eyes shut again, and attempted to make himself as small as possible.Â
After trying to stay completely still, and failing, Rinzler began to note that Clu seemed a little restless. Maybe even annoyed. As the Enforcer came to this conclusion, fresh shame and fear washed over him, and wished desperately that he could just disappear, or be derezzed, or something to get away from this situation.
Finally, he timidly whimpered another, ââŠS-sorr-rrry-y, S-sirrrâŠâ, into Cluâs chest, before trying to again to force himself into as little space as possible. He felt as if he had failed Clu somehow, and as much as he tried to remain calm, he kept letting panic bubble up inside of him.Â
He jumped a bit at the contact, before calming back down. So Clu didn't blame him. That was huge relief. Rinzler felt himself begin to relax some, knowing now that Clu didn't find him at fault for whatever had caused this. What the Administrator said next however, was surprising to him.
So his leader knew and acknowledged that Rinzler wanted to be closer to him? That he wanted to talk to him more? ThenâŠwhy didnât Clu ever talk to him? The only real reason Rinzler could think of was that the feeling wasnât mutual.
The few times before that he had tried initiating conversation, only to be sent away shortly after. ButâŠmaybe he just hadnât tried hard enough. That was probably it. After all, Clu was the Administrator. He was busy. But, then againâŠ.maybe it was just selfish of him to want to take up Cluâs time.
Regardless of that though, he certainly had the Adminâs time and attention now, whether he wanted it right now or not. After laying there a moment longer, still nervous and unsure of what to say, Rinzler finally thought of something he wanted to talk about. Or something he wanted to ask, at least. Timidly looking back up at his Leader, he murmured softly, ââŠW-whoâŠw-w-as T-trron?â
â«
Rinzler made a noise somewhere between a snort and a laugh, before rattling, "A-att-acked b-by-y d-deee-errrr...", he paused, "I-in J-jap-pan".Â
This could only mean two things as far as Rinzler was concerned:
1-Deer were highly vicious creatures in the User world.
or, 2- His Mun was incredibly inept and often stumbled into situations that put her health at risk.
He highly suspected that it was the latter.Â
â«
"M-mun-nn h-ha-aates...o-oli-ives...", Rinzler murmured. He didn't know what olives were, and didn't really want to bother with asking. He was sure it was just some User thing. Irrelevant.Â
â«
Rinzler cocked his head to the side, thinking for a bit, before rasping, "M-munnn...s-scarrr t-too. O-on f-forrehead..."
He paused for a moment before adding, "R-ran-n in-to-to w-w-wall....S-stu-upid..."
