The J2M we deserve
We need season 2 and 3 of Percy Jackson renewed like yesterday! Give us a double renewal! The actors will only look their character ages for so long!
Love this show dearly and so happy we got an amazing season 1! The numbers are too high for it to not get renewed so what is Disney waiting for?
For fans worried about Season 4...this may not be gospel, amd things could change, but Cancellation/Renewal sites basically say this about CW Renewals and Nancy Drew:
Also take into account, the spin off Tom Swift, is starting production, I believe this week (ND showrunner Noga, posted about it on her IG this week). They wont be getting rid of the Mother show with the spinoff anytime soon.
If we dont here renewal news in the firs go around, thats okay. CW might not be doing mass renewal day this time. Just means it will happen in phases.
Season 4 is going to happen. 2023-24 is where we might see a change. But for right now, we should be all good to go.
*P.S Showrunners wont know anything until the network tells the studio, studio will thrn tell them.
do you think the OneChicago series will continue for a long time, also because the ratings are good, or could they end sooner than you think?
I would be shocked if it didn't. One Chicago has lost viewership over the years, but it has also gained many new viewers. PD, Fire, and Med are NBC's highest-rated and most-watched dramas. It would be a significant loss for the network if One Chicago was canceled.
What makes One Chicago so unique is that they are the only series focusing on PD, Fire, and Med all in one city. Shonda Rhimes has tried to do it with Grey's Anatomy and Station 19, but it's not the same.
From how successful all three shows are, I am guessing another multi-season renewal will be coming up. We'll just have to wait and see. 😊
Do you think Good Girls will get renewed or do you believe this is the last season?
I’m hopeful that it’ll get renewed, anon! I mean, gosh, it’s topping the Nielsen streaming charts at the moment, which is insane.
Even beyond that though, I think it’s a really logical one for NBC to keep around because it’s a practical one for shooting during the pandemic. It’s got a small, contained cast, there aren’t really many fight scenes or large crowd scenes at all, they can restrict extras pretty easily, and there are very few sex scenes / make out scenes. That mitigates a lot of risk for them compared to shows like, say, New Amsterdam, where actors being in really close proximity to each other is important to the plot.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but I’m feeling cautiously optimistic!
CBS has renewed multiple drama series for next season, and there are some glaring omissions. Get all the details right here via TV Fanatic to get up to speed.
We made the cut again!! Season 12!
