“Shut up, both of you.”
"I think Daisuke's been spying on you. Just a warning.."
“He´s with me all the time I dont think that counts as spying.”
*Plays with your hair*
A soft purr escaped his lips and that rough exterior suddenly melted, and the man became more relaxed and content. He rested his head onto Ken's shoulder and purred the more he played with his long locks of hair.

"Eirik! I made you and Fennecmon something." Ken chirped up before extending a large bento box to the two. "I know it's not much but I wanted to make you two a nice lunch."
"Oh hello Ken, hmm? Watcha got me....?" Eirik blinked a multiple times when the other ahowed him the neat bento box. His snow white cheeks definitely were pained in red at the gesture. Even if he wasn't in the mood to eat, he simply didn't have a heart to turn down the effort and kind gesture the teenage bothered to make him. And also would be a waste of food, something that doesn't exist in Eirik's dictionary. But he couldn't help but to stare blankly at first.
"Ken...? Oh wow-- you shouldn't have..." He mumbled, but in the end he accepted the box and bowed with his hand. "Thank you..."
"OH DAYUUUUUM THAT SMELLS DELISH, KEN!" Fennecmon was actually drooling like a bulldog over the sight and smell of the homecooked meal.
“I swear there was someone there…”
”If you’re trying to scare me, Ken-kun, congratulations, you’ve done it,” Miyako said anxiously, clenching her hands into tight fists at her side. Whose dumb idea was it to take a shortcut to Izumi-senpai’s home anyway?
Oh right, that had been her.
But who was it who had insisted they’d be just fine crossing through that dark alley?
Yeah, that had been her, too.
But who—
Oh forget it. Miyako wasn’t even fooling herself. She had no one to blame but herself for their predicament. But did Ken-kun have to be so mean about it?! Was he punishing her?
”Okay, I’m sorry for suggesting we go this way, but could you please not—“
SNAP!
Miyako was not about to wait around to find out what had just made that loud noise. Without any consideration for the boy walking beside her, she grabbed him by the arm and took off toward the promising glow of streetlamps in the distance – not once looking behind them.
When the final notes of her panicked shrieks died down, a small squirrel scrambled out of a pile of debris, shook itself and continued its search for dinner.
A knighted figure loomed before them, armored shoulders striking the sky like black lightning against an otherwise beautiful sunshine. The details were masked in the shadow that swept over them as physical as the ocean, overwhelming them towards their demise.
The brunet with goggles lurched backwards, his best friend and their team leader... beaten to the ground by the other’s blast. Then the girl, fiery in spirits, tumbled afterwords with her hair fluttering from the attack. And a small boy, so keen towards others, started careening forward from the fight.
He looked up at the monster, digivice in hand... but was also sent falling due to a painful explosion. Resonance of shrapnel burned through the boy’s body up until his mind was overcome with only the sensation of being ripped apart and crushed at the same time, all the while falling into the endless afterlife...
“Ken!”
Kouichi gasped and tore the bed sheets between his hands. Some subtle headache echoed to remind him of the dream he’d just had, pressing him out of sleep and off his bed. A late morning sun was just starting to shine from behind a film of clouds, but the warrior of darkness couldn’t care about that.
He was off to find Ichijouji Ken... and warn them of this premonition.
