Renfield is extremely protective of the people he considers his friends or family. We all know this. But when it comes to you?? His girlfriend?? My my, this boy is like a helicopter boyfriend (in a non-toxic way) 😅
This man worships the ground you walk on, often treating you as though you were Queen of the world.
You didn't think this slightly obsessive behavior was strange, considering his last relationship with Dracula.. Everybody falls into old habits.
But considering the fact that you weren't forcing him to murder innocent people for your pleasure, you didn't see a problem with his behavior.
You've had people comment on how he was too protective, your friends often rolling their eyes when they saw Renfield laying out his jacket over a puddle so your shoes didn't get wet, or how he gave you the inner seat at the restaurant booth so you were safely sat between him and the wall.
And though they were all very sweet gestures, his protectiveness has annoyed you before..
He doesn't like the idea of "girls night." Especially if you were going to a club, where any number of things could happen. More than once you've found Renfeild sitting in the corner of the restaurant or club, wearing some kind of disguise while hiding behind a book.
But he's working on it!! Not on not worrying, but on how to hide better 😉
