he's 17 now, 16 at the time. he acts homophobic, and it makes me pretty uncomfortable, but i really don't know what to say.

i’d probably just stop talking to him if i were you. believe me, i’ve tried changing people’s minds about that stuff but it’s too exhausting and they’re too stubborn so i’d just ignore him if you can, especially if it makes you uncomfortable :/

AFW needs your help!

So I hate to ask for help like this, but it would really help our group if you spread this link around.  Our shelter, the Animal Friends of Westmoreland, have recently had to have all of our air conditioning units and the system fixed, and that was really not cheap.  Any amount of help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you so much, it means a lot to all the staff and the animals at the shelter!

There's this episode of Star Trek where they were getting their starship's energy reserves drained by some huge-ass alien who was feeding off that energy. Naturally they wanted the alien to stop taking all their energy, so they made the alien stop by making their energy 'taste less desirable', by modulating it in some way. Eventually the alien stopped taking their energy after it figured it tasted like crap. Do you see where I'm going?

i love star trek and yeah i thought about this. but if i spray myself with something he doesn’t like, hey may not want me touching him. maybe just spray my palms with it? i dunno. i really appreciate the advice though! thank you!
