Often, people are surprised to realize how small my painting studies are. I'm still not sure how to paint a face with #Gouache so I drew it on xD I like it tho especially the texture. I might play with this medium more as a break from watercolor. Though both are water based mediums, the biggest difference I note is that to correct mistakes in gouache it's better to overlap the paint when you wanna correct it than try lifting it off the paper. Just a small adjustment from what I'm used to in watercolor. It's the same thing you do if this were in oil and acrylic. But! For some reason, the paper I'm using absorbs the color so much that it's hard to keep it vibrant with a few layers.
