So I just looked up the meaning of my name and apparently:

Renn — lotus / water lily / romantic love / adoration

Sui — sweet

Tsuyuki — harbouring happiness / port of happiness

I am calling bullshit.

First of all, ROMANTIC LOVE???

The last few situationships I've had ended over TEXT.

Not because THEY broke up with me.

Because I broke up with THEM.

Over text.

The CEO of Avoidance Issues.

The Grandmaster of "this conversation could've been a face-to-face discussion but unfortunately I have chronic abandonment issues."

Why am I named after romance???

I should've been named after commitment issues.

And SWEET???

Please. I threatened AND punched someone over a Quidditch match last week.

And "harbouring happiness" is CRAZY because I spend at least 40% of my day actively irritated.

Who named me? Was there another child? Did you mix up the paperwork? Because there is no universe where "romantic, sweet, happy flower" was meant for ME.

So yea I have to work every weekend this summer but I specifically got days off so we could still see each other on Thursday and Friday when he’s more likely to be off early or not working at all. Sucks but I needed the job and it’s going to look good on me if I can finish the contract. Plus if we actually want to move in together I need to save something up just in case he decides to spend all his extra money on random shit.

Don’t say “I’ll never see you” to me. I’m not happy either but it’s life. Maybe try to say “we’ll work through it, we’ll be fine” and see how much more secure I’ll feel.
