Reno: Hey, boss. Gotta say, if you keep getting kidnapped this often, maybe I should start calling you "princess."
Rufus: Oh, Reno. I can still strangle you from here.

"Rest. That’s an order."
Rufus blinked, staring up incredulously at Reno from where he was lying supine on the couch under the heap of blankets the Turk had piled on him.
"I don't think that you understand the direction of this hierarchy,Reno."
"Yeah well, I don't think you understand the direction of…" Reno got lost in the middle of his retort and scratched his head, "how bad you need to rest, okay? Don't make me go get Tseng, he'll back me up on this."
Rufus sighed and relaxed down into the cushions waving his hand dismissively. "So he will."
Reno waited to see if his boss was going to offer more resistance, watching him carefully, before nodding.
"Good, so just stay there, yeah? You made me rest when I was messed up, so now it's your turn, boss. Get your snuggle on while I go make you some tea."
The incredulous look returned, but a smile tugged the corner of Rufus' mouth. "If you must. Just do me a favor and don't burn the place down, alright?"
"I can make tea!" Just for that, he came over and gave Rufus' pillow an extra fluff before heading to the kitchen.
