Baby’s first primer (gifted) from @renskincare - their PerfectCanvas Clean Primer. ⁣ ⁣ Some notes: this primer is noncomedogenic (meaning doesn’t contain ingredients that are prone to causing acne, black/whiteheads) , and clean at @sephora . I’m pretty selective with products that I use, quality and ingredients are two things I have high standards for. Skin has become a responsibility and this lil primer has been a beautiful #skincareshelfie addition and lovely product to hydrate & begin my makeup routine with. This primer does a realllly good job at smoothing skin and blends well with makeup (currently using tarte foundation) ⁣because my skin gets dryer in the fall/winter , I like how hydrating it is so no foundation appears caked or dry (tysmmm) ⁣ The key ingredients are mattifying agave, probiotics, and anti-aging lactic acid. ⁣ ⁣ Ren is really sticking to their word about improving sustainability when it comes to their products. I have been absolutely loving the @renskincareus Clean Screen SPF that was gifted to me! It’s the brand’s first sunscreen and boy is it great! ☀️I love how it feels on my skin and it is FABULOUS under makeup (better than some of my primers!) Plus, it’s good for the environment! Featuring plant based ingredients like yellow passion fruit, cranberry, rice starch to absorb oil and provide a matte effect (no sticky sunscreen) and aloe to soothe your skin while non nano zinc oxide provides protection from the sun (SPF 30)!. . Let’s look at the tube, the body is made out of 50% recycled plastic and both the tube and cap are 100% recyclable. . I love this sunscreen because it’s not genuinely non greasy (I have obnoxiously combo skin) and formulated to be plant based and cruelty free. I love that it goes on as matte and provides a non shiny glow - I add it on before any makeup in the morning. I appreciate the efforts REN took to create the packaging to be recyclable, that’s a step on the companies part — our part should be to make sure we recycle ♻️ even though it takes a little effort, we are doing our part to protect the planet.
