the glare is SUCH an interesting idea because it’s a grumpy but passive mob. no other passive mob shows that kind of emotion, other than maybe the strider.
plus, it being a flying creature is really cool because it can catch up with elytra. a lot of pets get left behind, but i think the glare could catch up!!
i think a really cool texture pack for glares would change their leaves based on biome!!
so you could have a brown tundra glare, a deep green taiga glare, or even a sandy desert glare!!
the glares have dripleaf/azalea camouflage so it would be cool to see how different caves generate different glares, with optifine or something :D

a tameable creature that interacts with LIGHT LEVELS!! it’s going to make farms and builds SO COOL AND EASY to make!!
plus, TAMEABLE?? it looks like a living dripleaf!!! what a cool implication for minecraft lore. if creatures are starting to evolve to camouflage, what else are they doing!
