Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa: Sly, honestly. Ren will open one door for him, just trying to be polite, but Sly will shrug it off with “I ain’t some frilly bitch. I can open doors for myself.” but in the middle of talking, he walks right into the other door and falls flat on his ass. Ren can’t help but chuckle.

Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them: Sly, yet again. He is a part of Aoba, after all, right down to the feverish denial of having a crush on Ren as soon as anyone asks. It’s after the two get together that Ren starts doing it too but he’s the smart one that’ll do it with a pencil instead of etching it into the wood like Sly.

Who starts the tickle fights: Ren, but it’s never out of the blue. Only when Sly starts up on Ren and starts poking fun at him will Ren remind Sly just how ticklish he is, which will cause Sly to deny it and Ren to prove it firsthand.

Who starts the pillow fights: Sly. He forgets that he’s not a tiny puppy anymore and end up rolling over on top of Sly in the middle of the night, so Sly has to take it upon himself to get him off and this is where Sly’s whipping out a pillow and smacking him comes in. Even when he wakes up, Sly still beats him just to get a rise out of him and it usually works.

Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile: Sly falls asleep last he’s not one to do the wistful “Watch your lover as they sleep” thing. On those rare nights where Sly falls asleep first, Ren is the one to do this and it’s doesn’t take long for Ren to bury his face in Sly’s hair and spoon him.

Who mistakes salt for sugar: Oh my God, definitely Ren. You would think his analytical nature would make this an uncommon occurrence but poor Ren just never learns. Sly finds it funny to see his face twist with disgust when he realizes that it wasn’t sugar he just added to his cereal.

Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning: Sly because he’s a little shit and wants to see if Ren will come out to yell at him.

Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines: Sly, usually of the explicit variety. They always get Ren lighting up like a Christmas tree.

Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order: Ren, for the sake of staying organized even among Sly’s rather chaotic presence.

Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies: Ren knows the risk of lapping at raw batter so this is right up Sly’s alley. He’ll pretty much eat half the batter and give himself a stomachache, which leads to Ren coddling him and chiding him for the rest of the night. Sly lives for the attention though.

Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion: Ren. He may not show it much but he’s a stickler for classic romantic tropes and he thinks any moment with the love of his life is deserving of celebration.

Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen: Sly; he loves the “sexy” tribal tattoos on Ren’s arms so he likes to add to them.

Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation: Ren, who’s yet again a very nostalgic, traditional lover.

Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines: It started with Sly who saw those teen girl magazines and forced it on Ren, but soon Ren is coming home with at least one issue and answering them on his own volition, as if to prove to himself that he loves Sly enough. At first, Sly finds the fascination weird, so he starts doing them too and eventually they’re sitting on opposite sides of the couch asking each other what certain questions mean and going too in depth in thought over them.

Sly. He would wear a sweater that says 'BLOW ME IF YOU WANT A WHITE CHRISTMAS' and Ren would just shake his head

Sly picks out movies and Ren makes hot cocoa for the two of them

who starts the snowball fight

Sly. Ren is trying to enjoy his cocoa and now it's got snow in it and Sly is on the ground laughing as Ren rises to his feet 

who drags the other under the mistletoe

Sly. He wants his kisses

who decorates the house

Ren. It would be pretty shades of white and blue and then Sly would add color among it all to destroy that peace

who hangs up the ornaments on the tree

Sly. He wants to take on that duty 

who cooks christmas dinner

Ren, of course. Sly wouldn't wanna take on the task of cooking a meal, plus he has a nagging feeling he may burn it  

who invites the other to sing a christmas duet

Ren. Sly wouldn't join in but Ren is giving him a look so he rolls his eyes and joins along

if they have any holiday traditions

They'd make their own~ And enjoy it each step of the way

who would start a food fight during baking

Sly. He would just: 'Hey Ren, psst~' and then Ren is suddenly a ghost with all that white

who would get drunk off of eggnog

Sly. And he would sing Jingle Bell Rock while laying on the couch

what i really want to see is Ren getting protective and defensive of Sly in the same way he would about Aoba, and Sly being a little bitch about it but later melting into his arms when offered a hug
