I don’t post very often but yo I wanted to make sure my dear followers know I’m active !! <3 Since I graduated from highschool last summer, I’m spending most of my time working, reading plays and learning lines and all that kind of stuff theater kids do nowadays,,, Yo can y'all believe I even dubbed*** the younger version of Mariah Carey in some animated biopic on how she got her first dog for Christmas ?? It was freaking amazing.
ANYWAY. I may have mentioned it a few months ago but I’m in the mood for announcements so : I’M MAKING AN ANIMATIC for a musical I love. And that’s what's taking most of my drawing time. Which is why I haven’t been doing any request recently, and I want to apologize for that. I’ll get back to them asap !

Hey y’all, it’s been a long time ! Sorry for the hiatus, I've been busy with school and with this lil guy up here ^^^ Say hi to my new roommate. He doesn’t help me drawing at all and loves to wake me up at 4 am to play with my feet.
If I didn’t paint anything at least I started filling a sketchbook and it’s honestly so satisfying to have all my doodles in a single tiny notebook, you can’t even imagine.
I was getting concerned over the fact that I drew Sapphire with a nose. And this is a legit conversation I had with my sister :
Me : Yea but how on Earth does she smell things then?? Her : She doesn’t need to. Me : Yea but she gotta smell when her girlfriend burns the pancakes so she can tell her ‘Oh you burned the pancakes'. Her : Effit she has future vision. Me : Then she knew smoochin Ruby would burn the pancakes, so Steven couldn’t eat, so he would starve, so he would die, because Sapphire’s actually an antagonist and spy from Blue Diamond among the Crystal Gems.
What are your favourite SU ships?
Mmmh I’m not a hard shipper I’m sorryyyy. DDD: So far I’m really into Amedot and MysteryPearl. Of course I also love me some blessed beautiful canon pairings, that is to say Connverse, Rupphire and PearlRose.
Besides those I like to imagine Pearl and Garnet as friends with benefits ?? Yet I wouldn’t ship Pearlnet. I can’t even draw up a list of my ships, there isn’t enough material.
EDIT : How could I forget that I vigorously ship Jasper and Lapis as Problematic Exes™.

What was your request ?
If you sent it more than a week ago, I’m sorry, I didn’t have much time those last months. I’m trying to catch up with requests but with work, studies and my baccalaureate I have to take in a month, this year is very busy for me. I’ve had personal problems too.
Also, I’m allowing myself to talk about something a bit personal here, but I’m probably not the only one with this problem on this website (if any of my followers want to manifest? let’s talk about it) : i’m a huuuge perfectionist and I pressure myself so much into doing things perfectly that sometimes, it just takes me weeks to realize that I can actually achieve this or that as well as everything I achieved so far. You could consider this as a disorder, as it’s truly something I’m trying to fix, to heal. (It’s also the reason why I can’t draw fast.)
The fact that I can’t concentrate and that I’m, like, the Ultimate Procrastinator 3000™ doesn’t help either. I can’t even sit still and focus on something without being distracted by a pigeon at the window ?? I’ve been thinking about ADHD a lot lately, but some other symptoms don’t match so I’m just gonna assume that it’s… the way I am.
I absolutely don’t wanna sound like I’m looking for sympathy or anything, sorry if it sounds like it. I was planning to explain things clearly at some point, and when I read your message I immediately thought this was a good opportunity. Thanks for complaining, in a way !
But please also consider that, beyond personal issues, requests are free work. Artists don’t get paid for them. This week I decided to stop taking requests for a moment, because I got more than I can currently handle. But I’m making a point of drawing the ones I have now.
(Although, I acknowledge that I shouldn’t have taken requests in the first place. I guess I was so happy seeing that people enjoyed my art, I couldn’t help myself.)
But yeah, tell me what your request was! You can even message me privately, I promise I won’t get upset.
TL;DR : some artists have personal problems they often blame themselves for, please don’t pressure them into drawing your requests quickly as those are free work. Even though Anon isn’t wrong, as they weren’t supposed to know any of upper information.
