What’s Up with “Recur” and “Reoccur”?
Reoccur isn’t even listed in many dictionaries. But those that do include it define it as simply “happening again,” with no mention of its being repetitive or occurring in a pattern. Quite literally, it is to “re-occur”:
But we won’t let them win. We mustn’t let them win. 💪
