Set in the late 1990s, I Saw the TV Glow follows Owen and Maddy, two lonely kids in the suburbs. They are brought together by a shared love of a late night TV show called The Pink Opaque, which soon becomes the most important thing in each of their lives—until, one day, the show is cancelled and Maddy disappears. Years later, she resurfaces to reveal to Owen the mysterious truth about their favourite childhood TV show.
