The Alt Right Has Spoken and Republican Fascism is Alive and Well

We’ve been here before. A power grab at the Presidency. And although this one may not be as ruthless as the last, its stamp has already been made.

While the power grab of 9/11 resulted in the Patriot Act, two wars, a fresh round of treasury looting and domestic spying, the power grab of the Donald Trump Presidency has resulted in events that will only further twist and turn a now divided and scrambled nation.

The country could have gone the other way. Hell, Donald Trump could have too. But neither he or we as a country had enough good karma built up to stave off the threat of yet another backwards step as a human race.

There will be no attempt at peace or truces or handshaking with this administration. Perhaps with Russia but until Nato dissolves that means nothing.

The war now is within our own borders. The Alt Right has spoken and their vision for the United States is now hard at play.

It’s a vision of adolescent mayhem. Building walls and cutting ties. And it stems from small-minded circles from small-minded towns within small minded states with all sorts of money.

They were the scum left over from the Bush oil raid. An Island of Misfit Toys who landed in the White House and immediately began to redecorate the place with hay and cow dung.

Their own party didn’t even want them. Which is why there’s so many of them now surfacing now. Like Revenge of the Nerds but the horror version. They created their own clique called The Alt Right and now they have a theatre to play in.

Meanwhile, the Republican Party was paralyzed as their latest spawn of neo-fascism didn’t wait for them to react before spoiling it for the next election cycle.

It was really up to the GOP brass at this point to steer the ship into waters that they never dreamed of even considering let alone had seen before: away from their leader.

Because if there’s one thing all Republicans are freakishly good at, it’s unquestioning and unyielding solidarity to their party.
