Scammer warning
Hi all. Just passing on the news that the "please boost my appeal for my cat" scammer has a new blog and a new name. If you see kassidymaygemz around, that's them. The cat doesn't exist. It's a scam, and they've been trying it on under a variety of different names via a number of different avenues. Their standard thing is to send an ask to people, always with the same text asking people to boost their appeal and saying you don't have to respond to it directly.
They've tried this on a number of different bloggers on this site so far. Either they've finally reached the "M's" in the list of names they have on hand, or they got down to the really minor leagues, because I'm writing this post in response to getting their ask. I've reported them to staff.
kassidymaygemz, if you're reading this, you may want to consider giving up on this particular scam, because people are starting to recognise it. You were on a hiding to nothing with me to begin with, because I don't boost e-begging as a matter of principle.
