The same three ‘Bobby Sock’ trees...43 years later. 

Things that have changed: The parking lot has been relocated, a new boardwalk was built around all of the geysers and pools, where Shore was standing in 1973 is now illegal to stand due to dangerous conditions in the soil (I quickly stood right on the edge of the road to grab this shot, needed the right angle!)

I have a new blog dedicated to THE SHORE PROJECT - the rephotographing of Stephen Shore’s Uncommon Places - which I have been working on since 2010. With over 25 locations already found and a recent hiatus to complete graduate school, we are back at it in full force!

My husband and I will be leaving soon for a 3-week road trip across Canada - follow us along as we move across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario!
