The fact that Luigi might face the death penalty is insane…like I hop that guy that shot up FSU and killed 2 ppl and injured at least 6 ppl (that I know of so far I haven’t read about it since earlier today) gets the same treatment.

I might delete this eventually, because I really try to keep this account free of too much personal stuff. But yesterday my alma mater, the most loving place I’ve ever called home, was the site of a mass shooting. My heart is breaking for all the students and faculty there, who should never have to feel fear of that kind—especially not in the classroom. While I’m no longer there, so many people I love—family, friends, and mentors—still are and I can’t stop thinking about what they’ve had to endure. I just wanted to post this as a reminder to you all to hold your friends and family extra close these days. Check in on and care for one another <3

for those who were aware and those who weren’t, i go to florida state university and was on campus when the spree shooting happened. i am safely off, was about a ten minute walk away from the building where it happened. stayed in lockdown for about 3 hours, evacuated safely now and will return home later when i’m feeling up to it.

Because I grew up in fl, I have SO many friends and even 2 family members enrolled in FSU. I was terrified for their lives, I was so scared and that the next time I saw them, it would be in a casket.

I’ve talked about shootings so much on this page, it’s sad. I’ve also been in two shootings my entire life. This should not be normal. This should not be considered a “low number.”

Every single day we hear about these shootings, and we say that they’re normal, that there’s no possible way to change anything. We think that things will always stay the same. That is exactly the mindset they want you to have.

There is no empathy from the trump administration, not like I expected any, but it’s devastating to watch time and time again. Year after year.

While we grieve our CHILDREN, while we watch them bleed out on the floor, they are out golfing, they are wasting our money on fucking rocket launches under the name of fake feminism.

And I’m sorry, but your thoughts and prayers are not gonna do shit.

I hope those affected by this tragedy and the families of the victims can find peace. My DMs are always open if anyone wants to chat about this <3
