9/18/2018- Pony acquisition post #508!!!! G1 and G3 Lot!
Year Released: 1984, 1989, 2007
YES! A huge lot from Europe came in, with some super cool pulls! First we have a complete, unboxed Pumpkin Tart! I do have a MIB one, but I’ve never been able to hold her and play with her, and I wouldn’t dare take that one out of her cute pumpkin packaging. I love her multicolored hair and cutie mark, she is the perfect Halloween pony!
I also got a NSS Wind Whistler, a UK exclusive release. I never realized that her symbol was actually whistles (I did have a flocked version, but it was hard to see under the flocking)...I know that’s embarrassing huh? Anyways, I think I might try my first Rit Dye repink treatment. Does anyone have a good guide to doing one?
I also got a really cool Italian Pony, Italian Moonstone! He (I also consider him a trans male, just like Italian Windy) is SO amazing! I love the darker colors in his hair compared to his regular release and his pose and non-glitter symbols make him stand out from his regular release! Expect a comparison shot between them soon.
I also got Darling Dahlia, from the rarer Sweet Reflections Dress shop released in 2004. I’ve had her exclusive partner, Goodie Goodie, for a while, and so it’s nice to finally have her to match! She has such cool hair and a different body color combo than most G3s.
Lastly here’s Sea Breeze, the second of my tropical ponies from 1989. I LOVE her bright colors, and her almost red, scarlet strip of hair. I’ve never seen a pony quite like her!
After a quick bath, these ponies came out great! Now I just gotta grab some Rit Dye and a good tutorial for Wind Whistler....
Original Condition: Very good!
Flaws: Wind Whistler has some ground in dirt and marks to her legs, also her hair is faded. Pumpkin Tart has some black marks on her ears from her cat ears, which are missing the rubber band attachment.
Restoration materials: soap, shampoo, conditioner
Current Condition: Very good!
