I have decided that for maximum parallelism and impact actually it should be replacement-gege who is getting into Jiang Cheng's head (by Jiang Cheng choosing him over Wei Wuxian to experience the inside of him) and seeing how he lost his core and then telling Wei Wuxian about it ONLY on being thoroughly pestered because he couldn't really betray sect leader just like that! And then he should follow that up by being extremely apologetic and bursting into tears when Jiang Cheng confronts him about it. (<- he is immediately forgiven) (<- "look what a manipulative traitor he is lan zhan!" says Wei Wuxian while replacement-gege almost throws up from misery)

The question of 'can WWX feel it when Jiang Cheng is railed by replacement-gege(his second-in-command) due to golden core shenanigans' has been raised in the comments of this post and now I can't stop thinking about it.

How badly would he crash out over this????? Omg can you imagine if JC was already together with the SiC before he's revived? Still trying to figure out if he's gay for LWJ/what feelings are and bam, someone else's wet dream😭😭😭 and then! When he figures out who it is!!! Who does he even tell?? Wen Ning? Wen Ning whose solution is to tell JC straight up and ruin everything? Wild.
