SCRIPTURE:

After I have uprooted them, I will once again have compassion on them and return each one to his inheritance and to his land.  ~ Jeremiah 12:15

OBSERVATION:

Confession can be an "uprooting..."

...a digging up and turning over of failure...

...of willfulness...

...of disobedience...

...an act of repentance...

A true "uprooting" leads to His compassion... 

...His mercy...

...His returning me to - "replanting" me in - His land - His "soil" 

APPLICATION:

Be uprooted...

Be replanted...

Grow my roots deeper into His goodness...

PRAYER: (part of verse 3)

Lord, You know me;  You see me.  You test whether my heart is with You.  Forgive my sin that separates me from You and Your will. Thank You for Your grace and mercy given through Your Son Jesus. In His Name, and for Your glory and praise.
