“What are you doing here?!” It wasn’t often that Shiba shouted this loudly anymore, but the sight of Rindo in this place was enough to make Shiba’s blood run hot. They weren’t finished with this place yet, it was too dangerous—there were too many Noise coagulating in this area for it to be safe for anyone!
The area was thick with the feeling of maliase, so thick that it was almost suffocating. Many people had suffered here, this apartment complex was a hotbed for Noise. So much so that the sheer weight of the Noise had begun to weigh down into the RG’s reality more and more. It warped the area and made it extremely difficult to navigate. The pressure felt by the Noise Plane was impossible not to notice.
Shiba’s lip rose in distaste as he hurried to Rindo’s side. Burnt orange eyes bore down on Rindo as Shiba gripped his shoulders tight. He didn’t ask if Rindo was hurt, preferring to look him up and down quickly to ascertain Rindo’s condition.
