Jasmine Kim was born in Madrid, Spain. She and her family moved to the suburbs of Seoul, South Korea when she was in kindergarten, and she has been living in South Korea ever since. Her parents, both, were offered jobs in Korea. Her mother had been living in Madrid since she was in her late teens and Jasmine doesn't know anything about her biological father. Her father moved to Madrid for a job opportunity. Jasmine is the eldest and only daughter of the family. She has two younger (half) brothers.
Jasmine studied in university as a telecommunications major, however, when she graduated university she applied to work as a chef at the small restaurant where she worked part-time as a server. It was actually a job she applied as a fall back in case she wouldn’t have been able to find a job in her major. Jasmine actually had an interest in food when she was younger, but it was only a hobby. Pastries are actually her weakness and often tries to make better pastries. She’s been working as a chef for the last five and half years.
