- changes his name to Kenji!! Wanted to change it to Issey but Riku doesn't have a sense of humor
- gets adopted as Riku's little brother and makes it everyones problem
- USED TO BE A ROBOT. Confusing but basically: his specific Replica build, meant to make him a perfect copy of Riku, required a lot more technical parts than just relying on magic, like Xion. Thus, in COM, hes more of a living robot/doll than an actual human
- this, of course, later changes when the Replica technology is more advanced, he gets to be a real boy with a real heart! (also he has a little inside joke w/ Riku about his name being Kenji and his past... as a robot.... haha)
- hes very... jerky at first, both in COM and when hes still getting used to a more advanced Replica body. Hes used to using BIG motions in order to get up from sitting or standing in one place for too long because of heavy robotic machinery, so now he'll LUNGE up and start RUNNING before he remembers.... oh yeah... it's not as hard to move anymore
- uses Sounds and Movement more than words! His sentences are very short and a little broken, using very blunt language in order to get his point across. Polite when he remembers (or when Naminé reminds him)
- nicknames EVERYTHING and EVERYONE because while he knows the words for things because of Riku's memories, they just don't... click like they do for Riku. Hence, while he knows that the emotion is 'happy,' for example, it FEELS like going "brrrp!" while vibrating his lips so that's just what he does
- his nickname for Riku is 'Ori' (short for Original), and his nickname for Naminé is Nami/Mimi
- craves physical attention PLEASE give it to him. Naminé isn't very huggy (she uses words more than actions to show her feelings), and Kenji didnt want to hug any other mf in Castle Oblivion. HOWEVER...
- his first ever hug (or, sign of physical affection) was from Lexaeus 🥺 it didnt go on for very long and never happened again but it STUCK with Kenji
- had a very "I fed the feral cat once now it won't leave me alone" relationship with Lexaeus. Not enough to be considered the man's kid by any means, but enough so that he had another person he knew he could go to other than Naminé in the castle
- NO FILTER. NO FILTER. He doesnt say anything he doesnt find Very Important out loud, but the things he finds Very Important are... odd
- grows his hair even longer than Riku had his but actually takes care of it so it looks, you know, good
- doesnt really GET gender. He knows Naminé is a girl, and he knows people see him as a boy, but doesnt get WHY and can't really... figure it out. as such, even though he does go by he/him, hes very androgynous in appearance because hes never really had to fill a specific gender role (also because hes like... 2 years old)
- theater kid lmaooo
- hes actually really funny and is hell bent on making someone choke to death on their own spit from laughing too hard (hes aiming for Riku but anyone will do)
- HATES sea salt ice cream and never fails to get in a big argument with Roxas about it. They have come to blows over it before. They're best friends
