Welcome To Camp Crystal Lake - Continued w/ blacksplinter
@blacksplinter
The abrupt approach was something of an annoyance. The Shape had planned for something more subtle- for the terror to be more psychologically damaging before physically damaging. He’d have to adapt his plans.
…. At least he could appreciate the force used.
Taking advantage of the teens scattering the moment Jason came into view, The Shape moved to intercept his own target- a brunette with a striking resemblance to someone who once failed him. She was his target. The friends that fled with her would make for good fodder in the meantime, and the fact they did not suspect a second killer only made his approach easier.
They were going for the cars. He already cut the brake lines. He wondered if he’d be able to dig the bodies out of the wreckage before Jason caught up with them.
As the teens fled, Jason kept his steady pace. He was in no rush -- it was only a matter of time before he caught them. The hockey-masked killer knew this lake district better than anyone. This was his home. Even if they happened to have some sort of map from the cabins with them, they weren’t exactly ``up to date``.
Looking back to where he first saw the other masked being, Jason noticed that he was gone. He seemed to also be moving in on the group in his own kind of way. Nevertheless, things were going the way Jason wanted. As long as the other didn’t get in the way or try to save the campers from their soon-to-be deaths, Jason’s focus would be on the teens until he finished what his mother had asked of him. Her words would echo in his mind; almost giving comfort to the killer.
``Kill them, Jason. Make them pay for what they did to you.`` Yes. They where all to blame. They were all the same. But he would have his revenge, avenging his mother in the process.

Carol couldn’t help but chuckle at that, bringing a hand to cover up their flustered face.
“Thank you, heh. You don’t have to call me “Miss” to be formal, just Carol will do. (I’m not really a ‘miss’ or ‘mister’ anyway...) Or, if you like, you can call me Charlie as well, that’s what my girlfriend called me.”
The psychic reached to grab a plate and scanned the appetizers. They grabbed some of the cheese and crackers, maybe a croissant or two, they would probably rather go their entire life without touching the escargot, thank you very much. All the while, they wondered when they should ask Adaline to be their date. After all, they didn’t want to look stupid.
