“yes, i suppose so.”
with a bit of a sigh, jacira gestured idly with her hand, conjuring up two chairs for them to sit upon– although she enjoyed her work as an ambassador, going out and meeting new people from across the globe, she was never fond of the actual… bureaucratic side of things.
“so you just need to get my information, correct? and then i can go?” honestly, she was more interested in the game than the actual work she was here to do at this point. “i am jacira condé, and i am the guinean ambassador.”

he didn’t miss the sigh. raising a brow, he put the stack of parchment he was sorting through down, folding his hands on top of it.
“i take it you’re not fond of this part of the job. not many are. i find people like me are an increasing rarity in this day and age.”
he wasn’t trying to sound superior or anything, but it sort of came out that way. to compensate, he added,
“but you’ve proven to be quite competent as an ambassador, whether you enjoy paperwork, or not.”
finally starting to record her words, he found himself constantly glancing up at her. to be accurate, he told himself.
“guinea. i’ve never been, but i gather it’s rather different from britain. do we do things differently here?”
