She knew full well she wasn't in the safest position at the moment, and yet, Jiah couldn't help but smile and flirt, head shaking a bit to try to get the hair out of her face. So often she'd been told she was only good at shopping and flirting, but who was to say those weren't skills in their own rights? Weren't charm classes a thing back in ye old England? She just had to ride the line between endearingly conversational and a pest- "I'm sure this was all some big misunderstanding on fathers part, honestly." Not that Jiah knew a *single* thing about her fathers business. Businesses. The only thing she knew was that he ran several large hotels around the world. And well, he preferred her to keep her nose out of the 'mens' work. And up til now, she'd been content to listen.
Right up until she'd found herself escorted to this location. If she was going to be dragged into it, the least she could do was learn more about it. She couldn't very well smooth ruffled feathers without knowing why they were ruffled. "Did something go horribly wrong at one of the hotels? I know he'll gladly fix whatever it was." She was starting to think this wasn't about the hotels, however.
